Alan R. Deroy, DPM

Dr. Alan R. Deroy graduated in the top one-fifth of his class at the prestigious Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2001. He completed his residency in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery at St. John North Shores Hospital, Harrison Twp, MI, in 2004, where he was trained to perform today's cutting-edge surgical procedures. He practiced briefly in Woodbridge, VA, prior to joining the Renaissance Foot and Ankle Center, PC.

Dr. Deroy is licensed to practice podiatric medicine in MD, VA, and MI. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association. He has publications in both the Journal of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery. He lectures to the general public as well as medical colleagues. Dr. Deroy has special interest in Pediatrics, Sports Medicine, Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery, Orthopedics, and Trauma. Dr. Deroy is on staff on Doctor's Community Hospital.
