Aparna Duggirala, DPM, FACFAS

Dr. Aparna Duggirala has been in private practice in the Washington, DC area since 2003. She received her Podiatric Medical Degree from the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, Philadelphia, PA, in 2000. After her residency in Diabetic Limb Salvage at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, she completed her foot and ankle surgical training in Houston, TX.

She is Chief of the Podiatry department at Doctor's Community Hospital and is an active staff member. On a National level, she serves as the Vice-President of the American Association of Women Podiatrist and is currently the chair of the AAWP National conference. Dr. Duggirala also holds membership in American Podiatric Medical Association, District of Columbia Podiatric Medical Association, and American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeon . During her professional career, she has lectured about foot and ankle disorders to the medical community as well as being a spokesperson for podiatric education.

Dr. Duggirala is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. She specializes in Diabetic Limb Salvage, Wound Care, Sports Medicine, and Foot Surgery and sees patients of all ages. When she's not treating patients, her hobbies include cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Duggirala also practices in Washington DC.
